Onion | 2 In quantity |
Tomato | 2 Medium in size or 1 big |

Garam masala powder (Optional) | 1/2 Tablespoon |
French beans (Optional) | 4 Beans |
Potato | 1 In quantity |
Chopped Coriander | 3 Tablespoons |
Yogurt | 2 Tablespoons |
Recipe:
- Wash the rice twice and cook it (in 5 times extra water). After cooking strain it well by the strainer.
- We need to chop all veggies - onion, potato, carrot vertically, just like french fries (thinner than french fries) and then we need to deep fry it one by one. Onion we need extra fried like mentioned in the referred image below. Other than that potato and carrot get fried till it gets golden.
- We need to grind both of the tomato's very well. Instead of that, you can also use ready tomato puree.
- Now finally its time for making biryani, take a frying pan and heat up 4 tablespoons of oil in it, add cumin seeds, it will make some noise after that add mustard seeds, tomato puree which we made earlier, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, chopped french beans, salt, tossed it, cover it and let it fry for 2 min on low flame. After 2 min the mixture started leaving oil, like referred image. If it's not, cook it for another min.
- Now add yogurt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, garam masala powder mix it well and fry it for another more min.
- Now add veggies and cooked rice and mix it well. Cook it for another one min and your Biryani is ready to eat.
Tips:
1) After cooking the rice, cool it down and then use it for making any kind biryani, cause rice will break if it is hot enough.
2) You can also add a pinch of sugar to add extra flavour in it.
