Instant Idli chutney | Rava idli recipe | How to make rava idli

 Cooking Time: 45min (need to soak the batter for half an hour)

Ingredients:

Yogurt1 Cup
Semolina or suji1 Cup
SaltAs per test
Eno fruit salt1 Tablespoon
Desiccated coconut or fresh coconut3 Tablespoons
Roasted peanuts2 Tablespoons
Sugar2 Tablespoons
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
Green chili 2 In quantity
Ginger paste or raw ginger1 Tablespoon
Chopped Coriander2 Tablespoons

Recipe: 
  1. Take a mixing bowl, add semolina or suji, Yogurt and salt as per test (around 1 tablespoon) mix it and keep it aside for 30 min.
  2. Take a grinding jar and put desiccated coconut, peanuts, sugar, ginger, lemon juice, green chili, coriander and salt as per test (around a half teaspoon), grind it well once. Add a half cup of water in it and grind it again. Our chutney is ready, keep the thickness as you like.
  3. Take the idli cooker, remove the tray, add some water in it and keep it on medium flame. Take a tray and grease it by oil. 
  4. Now take the idli batter and pour some water in it. The batter is in flowing consistency, not so thick, not so thin, (want to see use how? check the referral images).
  5. Add Eno fruit salt and mix it slowly, from one direction only, fill the batter in-tray by spoon and finally put the tray in the cooker and cover it. Cook it 5 min on high flame and 10 min on low flame. 



Tips:
Make sure you are removing the peanuts cover after roasting it, it spoils the test of chutney.
Its test will get improve if you are using fresh coconut instead of desiccated one.
