Rice flour (Optional) 1/2 Cup
Flattened rice (Poha) 3 Tablespoons
Turmeric powder (Optional) 1/2 Tablespoon
Crushed Cumin 1/2 Tablespoon

Garlic Cloves 8 in Quantity medium size
Black pepper Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Carom seeds or Ajwain (Optional)  1/2 Tablespoon
Sesame Seeds or til 1/2 Tablespoon
Salt As per test

Recipe:
  1. Let's get started with this testy recipe, we need to grind the green chilli and garlic clove together. If we don't have crushed cumin with we, crush it in this step.
  2. Take a mixing bowl and add all the ingredients step by step. First, add all the flours, add wheat flour or atta, jowar flour, gram flour or besan, bajra flour, rice flour.
  3. Wash the flattened rice or poha and add in it. Add the grated cabbage, garlic and chilli paste, which we grind earlier. Instead of using green chilli, we can also use red chilli powder, the results are the same.
  4. Now add turmeric powder, crushed cumin, black pepper powder, carom seeds or ajwain and salt as per test. Mix these dry ingredients well and then start to add the water bit by bit.
  5. We need a soft dough, now take a wet cloth and spread it a flat surface. Take a portion from dough, wet our hands by water and spread is on this cloth by hand. Use the water to spread the dough. The cloth should also have too much dampness in it. So we can spread it easily. After spreading the martial, it will look like a given reference image.
  6. Spread it thinly as much we want. Some people like thickness in it, those can do skip this step and spread it direly on the pan itself.
  7. On the hot flat pan, spread some oil and now take that cloth and flip it on the pan, apply some water on the top side of the cloth and gently remove it. Here, some water means take some water in our hand just spread it and tap it on that cloth.
  8. Now cook it till it gets some golden brown spots on top of it. Make sure we are cooking it on a medium-high flame, otherwise it becomes dry. After flipping it and apply some ghee or butter on top of it.
  9. It's ready to eat, serve it with some curd or some pickles.
Thalipeeth

Tips:
1) When we are flipping the cloth on top of the pan and while removing the cloth, if we found some of the material is still stick to the cloth, then just apply some more water on the backside of cloth, on that particular section, so the martial will leave the cloth easily and stick to the pan.
2) Add some sugar and pinch of salt in curd. It tests delicious.

This thalipeeth is very delicious multigrain recipe having only 110 calories in a single peace. It's very tasty and authentic Maharashtrian food. It's a quick recipe and very delicious. Trust me, in one Thalipeeth, we will think that's enough for lunch or dinner.

We are saying it as the instant cause, originally its made from bhajani. Bhajani is nothing but flour, which contains multiple grains, which they wash first, dry it and then roast it, till becomes golden.

All the grains have there owned different timing of roasting, we roast single item at a time and then mix it and make the flour out of it.

Isn't that too much long process?

But, tada 😜 here we go with the instant recipe, without bhajani. Bhajani will remain fine till a minimum 6 months. So whenever, someone is hungry and need to make some instant healthy food, the people will go with this option.

There are different kinds of thalipeeth available like plain thalipeeth (Contains onion), dudhi thalipeeth, methi or fresh fenugreek thalipeeth, cucumber thalipeeth, spinach thalipeeth, etc. Basically, whatever fresh vegetables available in our fridge we can make thalipeeth from it.

Isn't that funny thing about it? But every type of thalipeeth is very delicious.

Don't think about it much, just try it and leave us the comment about your experience. We know you all gonna enjoy it a lot.
