Instant jalebi | Easy Jalebi Recipe | Crispy Homemade Jalebi

Cooking Time: 15min (for 2 peoples)

Ingredients:
Item Quantity
All-purpose flour or maida 1 Cup
Eno fruit salt 1 Packet of 5g
Butter or ghee 1 Tablespoon
Sugar 1 and 1/2 Cup
Water 1 and 1/2 Cups in total
Red or yellow colour (Optional) 1/2 Teaspoon
Mix dry fruit's  2 Tablespoon
Cardamom or elaichi 1 Tablespoon
Lemon 1 Tablespoon

Recipe:
  1. We need the sugar syrup or Chaasni first, add sugar in 1 cup of water and boil it for 5 to 7 min on medium lower flame. We need to add some red or yellow colour, lemon juice in it and some cardamom or elaichi powder also.
  2. Let's get started with this easy recipe, with mixing all ingredients for batter. Take a mixing bowl and add all-purpose flour or maida, Eno fruit salt and ghee. Mix it well and then add water bit by bit. Don't add it more at once, otherwise, it will generate lumps in it.
  3. We don't have any challenge to do all these things quickly, as the generated fermentation by eno will go. That's fine, no matter of eno, mix it well, there is no hurry, smooth out the dough till flowing consistency.
  4. We need consistency as shown in referral image. As we calculated it needed only half a cup of water, but if you need more, just feel free to add.
  5. Now take a cone or take an icing bag or ketchup plastic bottle and fill the bottle or cone with the batter.
  6. Heat up the oil in a pan for deep fry the jalebi. Once it gets hot enough, just keep the gas on medium flame and start adding the batter in a circular motion. It will start from the centre and keep it up, till the end of it.
  7. Deep fry it till it becomes golden. Don't worry! the first time it will be not in a circle shape 😁. We can eat other shapes also.
  8. Now the final step, as soon as removing the jalebi from oil, put it in sugar syrup. Put a big spoon or something on top of the jalebi, so that it will not float on the top of the syrup. We need to keep every jalebi in syrup till 5 min. Now your Jalebi is ready to eat.
  9. While serving sprinkle some dry fruits on top of it.
